Journey of Hope Ministry was founded in 2014 by Melissa Pratt and Victoria Jeffcoat. The Lord had placed a calling on their hearts to go out to the homeless tent community and show them love and compassion by providing essential items for their daily needs. To share the love of Jesus and to be the voice to those that felt unloved and forgotten. In January 2019, Journey of Hope applied and became a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Journey of Hope provides blessing bags that contain hygiene kits, essential kits, and food along with other various other items such as sleeping bags and warm clothing. While doing our street outreach, we are able to share the gospel of Jesus, do a well-check and to provide various resources as needed. 

In 2023 we established our Homelessness Prevention Programs for those that are in danger of becoming homeless.

In 2025, we implemented our financial freedom classes for those that are a resident of Lincoln County, NC and in need of rental assistance.
