Meet Angela. She is one of the reasons we do what we do here at Journey of Hope.
My name is Angela. I met a true God sent angel about 4 years ago when I met Melissa Pratt with Journey of Hope. She is and always will be a tride and true, real, beautiful, godly woman with a purpose and passion that goes unhindered by those doubters. She doesn't let anyone get in between her and the mission the Lord has her on. One day a group from the Hesed House (when John Hall was director) came out to bring winter supplies to us homeless and Melissa was with them. She gave me a winter coat that I still have and wear to this day. For the last four years I can definitely say that if Journey of Hope and new sister nonprofit Soul to Soul had not been there I would've lost so much of my faith. As a matter of fact I probably would've gave up completely. But when you have strangers who over time become your family, your role models, your cheerleaders, and much more choose to advocate for you and your character, the thought or idea of giving up becomes such a foreign concept. I will always hold her close to my heart. I will always have her 6 the way that she has had mine.
